• The taller 28.5 mm depth means this basket wants a bigger dose than a standard-height double, if you're used to dosing a regular basket, expect to add a gram or two to fill the puck properly and avoid a hollow, under-extracted shot.
• IMS's cylindrical flat-bottom shape is designed to use the entire puck evenly; a shallow, off-center distribution defeats that advantage faster on this basket than on a shorter one, so prioritize a good distribution tool or WDT pass before tamping.
